“6 Blocks Home” release day!

Release day is finally here!

So much has happened since I put the final touches on this project and sent it to print — it feels like a lifetime ago even though it was only three months ago.

(It was August 28th to be exact. My birthday. Sending this to print was my birthday present to myself. Don’t judge.)

Since then, I was furloughed. And then I started my own company. And then October disappeared into a time warp. And then we had a crazy, messy, exhausting election.

And now we’re here. And I finally get to share this little piece of my heart with you, dear readers. Or, rather, this really enormous part of my heart. Writing is always a deeply personal experience, and somehow “6 Blocks Home” managed to become more personal than anything I’ve ever written. With this book, I’m truly putting my heart into your hands. So be gentle :-)
